Delicious it was indeed! The TBF2010 was a HUGE success! Thank you to all the directors, performers, and instructors, thank you to my crew and volunteers who made this the most positive, the friendliest, warmest and sensual weekend Latin festival I've ever experienced.

My goal was to elevate the level of bachata. While watching dancers on Saturday and Sunday nights, I saw that this goal was realized! Everyone was dancing a much more intricate and sexy bachata! People knew how to dance closer, enjoy and listen to the music! Even Patience, who loves her on2 groove, said 'I didn't think i'd enjoy bachata so much..this weekend has really opened my eyes to how sexy bachata is'.

Yay!

I have to say, I totally got my sexy bachata groove on with the 5 instructors on Friday night! Hahaha. Wohoooooo!!! I'm still on a high.

Now everyone knows that a bachata festival is not all bachata all day, all night. To all those who turned away because of this assumption, better not miss it NEXT YEAR!

The best was to hear how attendees really loved the energy of the weekend, the crew, the shows, the instructors, Troy the MC. In fact, Troy said, 'At salsa congresses, you know how people tend to dance 'at' each other..' which is intimidating and uncomfortable for most, 'but here everyone is dancing with each other'. And that really sums up why this festival was so great.
