Salsa Music & Technique Tips: Tip#15: When your mind is full of ideas, talking, criticism, confusion, be aware of it and switch it off while you dance! Give your body the chance to sense what it's doing for a change. Instead of counting, sing or hum the pulses of the (salsa) rhythm, "ba ba ba, ba ba ba." This is a great way to feel the music and have a deeper relationship with the music.

Make the most of your Tuesday night: After taking your salsa class, join the GoDanceSalsa shines and body movement class (8pm-9pm $15), or simply practice your moves to great music. Volunteers will be there to assist.
At 9pm, when all instructors finish teaching, you'll get one ticket at the door which gives you 1 song's worth of a GoDanceMambo instructor's attention. They will give you pointers to improve your technique. You'll hear the announcer to let someone else have the teacher's all to themselves.
Should you wish more of their time, you can purchase another ticket for $3. Only $3! Tickets are transferable to another night.

Salsa Music & Technique Tips: Tip#17: SAlsa men have a hard time remembering turn patterns and even core moves. One trick is to make a clear list (one that only you can understand!) and leave it in your pant pocket. On mini breaks from dancing, glance your list and jog memory! You'd be surprised who already does this. Try it!
