Stephanie's new muse is ...Rio-style Zouk! The following is a little background story:
How Zouk Arrived at Go Dance Mambo
First introduced in February of 2011 at the Toronto Bachata Festival, Stephanie danced with K-yo Victor from Rio.
"What is this dance?" she asked. "I have to know everything about it. It is so beautiful...I have a new muse."
So she went to Brazil in May, and K-yo organized taking private lessons and attending socials with the best instructor/dancers in three different cities. Then Stephanie and Toronto Dance Zouk invited K-yo to come for five weeks in the fall for two workshop weekends.

Based on this, Stephanie created a 5-week tour in four cities and called it Toronto ZoukFest. Together they spread the zouk seeds and are inspiring others to join the zouk lover wave.
Now Stephanie would like more zouk teachers to come to the TBF...and is planning on bringing Freddy Marinho and his wife Andressa Castellano for 4 months to teach at GDM! February - March!!!!
