Here we answer some frequently asked questions about our classes, and list our class policies. 

How long will it take me to learn how to dance?

At GoDanceMambo, we offer 4 salsa levels which on paper, take 32 weeks to complete. However, there are so many cool moves that we couldn't possibly show them to you in 32 weeks. So we've formatted the intermediate and intermediate-advanced courses, so you can take them repeatedly and learn new things every 8 weeks. Many of our students stay for a year or longer in the same class and have become excellent social dancers.

Everyone learns at a different pace- your goals will be reached depending on how much you practice, and how many moves you want to be totally confident about.  You don't even have to go to clubs to salsa dance or stay out late to  get out dancing! Dance at our Tuesday Salsa Practice (free!), our Thursday Salsa Social or our Sunday Salsa Social (in its 7th year).

I have 2 left feet. Can you help me?

We specialize in people with 3 LEFT FEET, so don't you worry about a thing! Our system has been revised over the last 20 years, and it works on everyone! The only way you couldn't learn is if a) you were absent and b) you were in love and sooo distracted or c) you gave up.

What are the Dates of your Sessions?

How do the prices work?

Decide if you're taking

• 1 salsa class per session (you pay $135 as opposed to $160 for drop-ins).
• 2 salsa classes per session or more (take the $250 Unlimited Pass for 8 wks and save $20) 
• 3 salsa classes per session or combined with Specialty Courses (take the $450 Unlimited Pass for 16 wks, or 6 month Unlimited at $650 for even more value!)
• NEW! Referral Reward! Refer a friend who pays for an 8-week course, and you get $50 off any Unlimited Package! Wohoo!

Repeat any salsa level for $99* !

*As long as the class is taken back to back with previous session. If you skip a session you'll pay the original price of $135.

Students also receive the 4 salsa levels for $99.

Do I need to bring a partner to classes?

You don’t need a partner (most people come without one) to join the fun. Plus, we have our dedicated Volunteer Team to balance the male/female ratio.

What if I miss a class?

You can make up one class per session (8 weeks) however you will most likely miss the exact class. Contact us  to schedule your make-up class so we can assure the ratios are equal.

How can I ease into dancing in public?

People go out to practice. You can jump into our Sunday Salsa Social. Last day of them month Iona is there to break the ice with you, 6-7pm. Or dance at the studio after your class (without talking!), or come to our last Tues of the Month Salsa Practice.

I'm addicted! Where can I go dance each night of the week?

 Remember you don't go out to become perfect...you go out to practice to enjoy yourself! That's what everyone else is doing! :)
