and of course our bachata!
No more sitting through a bachata song at the socials and clubs!
This class is for those looking for an elegant, highly rhythmical footwork-based bachata, during partnerwork.  Since we organize Toronto’s one and only smashing bachata festival weekend, we are big advocates of this dance, and have seen a huge increase in bachata evolution in the past 3 years.

Develop great leading & following skills, body isolations, rhythmical footwork and sensual arm movements. Bowie is the only instructor in TO who teaches Troy and Jorjet's moves and travels to keep learning from them.

Dominican style has 2 branches: one is sensual and close; the other is elegant, in closed position without turns that emphasizes music and rhythm. The second style is exactly what Bowie teaches.

Prerequisite: Enthusiasm and excitement to learn! Basic bachata is an asset. This is a challenging intermediate level of instruction, since it’s a bootcamp!
