Annual Performance Team for the Toronto Bachata Festival 2011!
We had such a great time last year with our group, Grig, Michelle B, Hagop, Noelline, Bill, Michelle S, Jaime, Caroline, Deryck, Shauna, Rozina and Marlee.
Last year's bachata was very slow and romantic. This year, we're going sexy, steamy and fast!
This year, we'll be auditioning for new members to ensure that the level is high enough and we can explore more advanced techniques. We need high commitment and a willingness to travel as we'll be performing this routine at the New Jersey Congress in April. (You don't have to go there, but hopefully the majority of the group can go).
Auditions any Thursday 10:15pm onwards, or Sunday 6-10pm at the socials!
All you have to do is dance club-style.
Must be in good shape to take Rafael's very physical workouts!
When: Mondays 7-8:30pm, 14 wks plus extra rehearsals
Where: 2nd floor of Dovercourt House
Instructor: Rafael
Cost: $336 includes free rehearsal practices.
$350 + Unlimited Access to all 16 classes; or 4 month pass $450.
Costume is extra (we keep it under $100).
Level: Intermediate Bachata, quick learner for new styling, new moves. Very comfortable with club salsa or if you are coming from jazz, or other dances, and can learn fast, that's ok too.

Go Dance Mambo Bachata Team will be opening the Saturday night performances at the Toronto Bachata Festival February 19th at the Lithuanian House.
Assessments are being held for this intermediate-advanced team. Please contact SalsaSteph at info@godancemambo.com.
We need to see you dancing 'real time' in public, with different partners-there is also less pressure than an audition!
If selected, program details are as follows:
Monday nights 7-8:30pm November 1-Feb 14 (no December 20/27)
$315 or

Pre-requisite: Assessment, no prior injuries to joints, high commitment to the team, and lots of stamina.
