Open House for Salsa Virgins

New to salsa? Have you always wanted to try it and just hadn't made time for yourself? Have you taken L1 elsewhere and want to join L2 salsa?

Let us entice you into exhilerating world of salsa by coming to our Open House for Salsa Virgins.

Next Salsa Open Houses:

Sunday, Sept 14th, 3-4pm, Level 1, Level 2 A

Tuesday, Sept 16th, 7-8pm, Level 1, Level 2 A

Sunday, Oct 26th, 3-4pm Level 1; 8-9pm Level 2 B

Tuesday, Oct 28th, 7-8pm Level; 8-9pm Level 2 B

Should you decide to sign up for the course, you can join the L1 salsa for 6 weeks @$90 and L2 salsa for $165. Choose between Sunday and Tuesday classes.

Note that L2 is only 6 weeks instead of 12 next session, as we are stopping Sunday salsa classes at the end of June. We continue Sundays as of September.

Now that students know the basic building blocks, popular sequences are taught by adding new handholds on 7 of the 10 Core Moves.
Each class builds progressively.

Complementary Courses:Bachata; Dance on Beat, Dance on Time.

Note that L2 A  is also on Tuesdays 8-9pm.

Prerequisite: Basics, Ladies' Right Turn, Cross Body Lead. Perhaps you've taken club classes before or used to dance but have taken a break, so you're not a complete beginner.

Cost: $90 (usually $165 -1st class is free!)

Join the fun! This class is for students with little or no salsa dance experience.
You will lbe introduced to the four basic steps; ladies’ and men’s right turn; cross body lead; timing and the importance of leading/following technique.

 
Each class builds progressively with a class structure of 15 min. review/15 min. new material/15 min. practice/15 min. dance to music.
 Complementary Courses: Latin Dance Mix; Dance on Beat, Dance on Time.

 
Note: L1 Salsa is also offered on Tuesdays 7:00-8:00pm

What to wear: Soft-soled shoes (no rubber), comfortable clothing, deodorant and minty breath! Oh yes!
